Differentiate between 14% and 15% VAT
When viewing reports for the March/April period SARS has advised that you cannot have mixed output VAT. As in you cannot have the 14% and the 15% in one output or input box.
Both the 14% and the 15% Tax rates have the description “VAT-Standard rated”.This will cause confusion when viewing the Tax Type report.
You need to change the descriptions as below.
Select Setup…Tax…General Settings, select the percentages tab
Change the description as per example below
