Hi Bev,
I cannot backup my Pastel V14.0.4. I keep getting the Error 507. I did try to follow the instructions as given on this site link to error code, but it still will not correct/repair. Can you help me please? I have tried on C Drive, flash drive, external hard drive… with no luck.
Also I will need to adjust my VAT to 15%. Can I do this on V14? I cannot afford to upgrade at this stage. Appreciate your help and advise.
Thank you,
Lauren Vice/Grace Now Ministries/PE.

Hi there Lauren
Are you getting a backup in progress message?
Do this:
Go out of Pastel
Open up Windows Explorer on your pc.
Its the “My computer” or “Computer” = depending on your MS Windows version.
Find your local disk (c) folder and
Scroll down to your Pastel14 folder and
Then you will see folder such as _demo… custom, and your companies folders.
Highlight the one you want, (just click on it once)
Right click on it
Select
Highlight the Pastel14 folder again (just click on it once)
Right click on it
Select
Then you have a backup, and you don’t need to do one inside Pastel.
Yes, you can go to 15% vat with the 14.1.21 build. I understand Pastel is quite pricey.
Good luck
Bev
